The tradition began in Hawaii, then in California, and eventually in Washington, while Carl and Gertie Krautheim honed their special chocolate skills year after year. Their daughter Margo now manages the Mercer Island flagship store, and teaches monthly classes on the art of tempering and dipping chocolate goodies!
